Weeks 7 & 8

I apologize for my slacking in keeping this blog up to date! I've been a little on the selfish side and just taken time to spend with my kiddos the last few weeks.

Here are week 7 & 8 calendars:


Week 7
2 weeks to go!

Each daily item is worth 1 point.
You can do these daily calendar items on any day that works for your schedule.

Monday – Take some time today and give 10 minutes of your time to each person in your family. Just talk to them, one-on-one, without interruptions.

Tuesday – Take a blanket and your kids outside and spend time looking up at the clouds with your kids.

Wednesday – Share what we are doing with someone new. Maybe they will get excited & want to start their own group!

Thursday – Invite a few friends over for lunch. All of you bring something healthy to share with each other. (remember to share the recipes)

Friday – Do you talk positively to yourself? Give yourself 15 compliments today. You ARE looking pretty HOT now!! (positive self talk is very helpful. You only get what you think/talk about. Say to yourself, “My body is skinny” or “I'm so good at eating right and losing weight”. It will make a difference!

Saturday – Write a thank you card to all of your family members and give it to them on Mother's Day. Let your kids and hubby know what is so special about themselves.

Sunday – Call your Mom and wish her Happy Mother's Day. Call another Mom that could use a good lift for the day and let them know they are awesome and why. (Give yourself an extra 5 points for each Mom you call!)

***For everyday you get yourself ready (hair done nice, makeup if you wear it) this week, give yourself an extra 3 points for each day! You will feel more confident the days you pretty yourself up. Even if you never leave your house. (Your husband will love to see you all dressed up too).


Week 8
This is it! Finish STRONG!!!

Each daily item is worth 1 point.
You can do these daily calendar items on any day that works for your schedule.

Monday – If you kissed your husband today before kids left for school, give yourself an extra 5 points! Give yourself an extra 5 points each day you kiss your husband with thoughtfulness, not just to kiss him. Make it a surprising kiss!

Tuesday – Help one or all of your kids set a goal. Explain to them why goals are important in their lives.

Wednesday – Take the kids to the park! Swing with them, take a lunch/dinner and just have fun with them.

Thursday – Read an article from the Ensign or other church magazine

Friday – Call your husband during lunch and say hello. Let him know you were thinking of him. Go out to lunch with him (or take lunch to him) if you'd like!

Saturday – Inivite a couple to come with you to the date night! For each person you call to come, give yourself 2 points.

Sunday – Record any experiences you've had in the last 8 weeks in your journal. You are amazing and did something good for yourself (your family benefited from this too!)

***Remember to weigh or measure yourself at the end of this week! Get all of your points in as soon as possible next week so we can announce the winners!
